Getting into the depth of the VIZLEDB2009: PART 1

After 8 months of hard work, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! The release is coming closer and closer every day... we just gave ourselves some extra time (by not releasing it on the startday of the Tour de France 2009) to make last adjustment possible if needed.

By setting the release date a little big later (after first week Tour, if we are able to bring this date forward we will again ofcourse issue another annoucement) we can, for example, still make the New Ag2r Jersey, New Cervelo Frame, etc. intime. Also this will give us the opportunity of editing some latest stats, if for example, Óscar Freire Gomez wins both the Individual Time-Trial of Monaco and the Mountain stage to Andorre Arcalis (not likely to happen but you get the point ).

Now that the release is getting close, I can give away some more details about the DB everyday!

First of all I would like to tell you that we made everything ourselves for all teams. Because of this, all teams have the correct equipment, jerseys, etc. Futhermore I can tell you that if you are going to play a 3D Road Race, you will be able to chooce between 26.218.038 equipment combinations. For Timetrails it is even more: 133.663.200 combinations and still counting!

But that is not all by far, since we made all jerseys/accessoires ourselves you will get the best of the best of that aswell! Also we have made a lot of extra jerseys which you can change however you like it! So especially for "Story Writers" this Database is a must have. Example: you can play with Astana and let Lance ride with his Livestrong gear, while the rest of the team uses the standard gear. Or give Zabriskie his own Timetrial Disc during a Team Timetrial while the others of the Garmin squad uses the default equipment.

Next time I will present to you the VIZLDatabase Team. But for now, now that you have had a little glimpse of what this Project is about, the only thing left form me to say is: Enjoy the first stages of the Tour de France!

Also auf der angegebenen Seite kann ich die DB nicht downloaden, kann mir jemand helfen?? Das .rar-file ist nur ca. 200 kb groß

dabei handelt es sich dann um die DB, die als RAR-File verpackt wurde. Du musst dich zuerst im Forum registrieren, dort findest du dann alle Infos zum Download (was du machen musst usw). Hast du das gemacht, musst du dich auf der HP von VizleFX reggen, wo du dann die "Haupt-Database" runterladen kannst.

Ich hab mich zuerst auf der hp registriert, von dort ist das file, dann im Forum, wenn ich mich da einlogge, kann ich leider keine Beiträge finden, dort steht: This board has no forums???... was nun?

Das ist die geilste DB in Sachen Grafik was ich jemals gesehen habe. Von den Werten ein wenig komisch aber vom Grafischen gabs noch nie was besseres

Wo kann man eigentlich eine Liste finden in der steht was alles enthalten ist ?
Ich konnte weder auf deren Seite, noch hier eine finden... Gibt es überhaupt eine ?

Ansonsten hört sich das alles ja ganz gut an. Ich denke aber, dass meine Grafikkarte das kaum alles stemmen werden kann.

Okay also nach 5 Saisonen muss ich leider fesstellen das die Database doch nicht so gut ist.
Fahrer entwickeln sich nicht egal ob Potenzial 1 oder 7. Kaum Fahrer verbessern sich und wenn dann nur minimal. Andy Schleck ist jetzt 29 und hat sich nur einmal in der 1. Saison am Berg verbessert das wars.
Und bei den Jungfahrern egal ob Glänzende Zukunft oder Hoffnungslos keiner hat sich entwickelt..

Gibt irgendeinen Weg das Problem zu lösen?
