[2007] Wie bekommt man eine neue Seriennummer? (DL-Version)

Also das Spiel ist nicht spielbar. Immer sind diese exe. Fehler da und noch String Fehler. Offensichtlich haben die Leute von Cyanide echt Scheiss Arbeit geleistet nun war ich sauer und hab ihnen eine Mail geschickt.

Guten Tag,

ich habe vor 2 Monaten die Download- Version erworben. Seither funktioniert das Spiel überhaupt nciht ohne Probleme. Es tauchen nur exe. Fehler auf und wenn man es neustartet String-Fehler. Ich bin mit dem Nerven am Ende. Ich habe Geld bezahlt und bekomme ein fehlerhaftes Spiel. Das kann es nicht sein. Und wenn mann das Spiel neuinstalliert muss man den Code wiedereingeben. Der war nach dreimal wieder weg, weil das Spiel sowieso nach einem Tag die gleichen Fehler aufweiste. Schreibt man euch Ihnen eine E-Mail das man ne neue Nummer haben möchte, bekomme ich eine Englische Antwort ohne Codenummer.
Beim Kauf wurde noch gesagt man bekomme eine nue ganz einfach ohne Probleme. Das kann nicht sein. Mein PC ist gut genug aber warum das Spiel trotzdem nicht funktioniert verstehe ich gar nicht. Auch die versprochene Deutsche Version gibt es auch nicht. Wofür habe ich mein Geld überhaupt bezahlt?
Für eine Download Version die nicht funktioniert? Ich möchte eine funktionierende CD Version von ihnen haben. Weil so kann das ja nicht weitergehen. Ich bin tief enntäuscht von Cyanide. Die letzten Jahre funktionierte das Spiel reibungslos. Bitte schicken sie mir eine Email auf Deutsch zurück.

kauf dir doch die CD Version ^^

nee also keine Ahnung was ihr alle habt bei mir funzt es ab und zu gehts im Hauptmenu aufm Desktop zurück aber dann einfach die CD neu einlegen und schon gehts wieder.
Spielabstürze im 3D-Rennen so wie sie hier zu hauf beschrieben werden sind mir noch nicht aufgefallen.

zu fabiesq, hast du echt keien neue serien nummer bekommen? Normalerweise müssen sie dir eine neue schicken. Aber die email musst du meines wissens aber auch an die leute schicken die den download hosten, man hatte damals ne email bekommen , da stehts drin an wen die muss.

Ja sicher das habe ich geschrieben an die Mail, die ich bekommen habe als sie mir mittgeteilt haben das ich das Produkt erworben habe. Nichts läuft mehr richtig.

Aber meiner Meinung kann das echt nicht mehr sein. Das Spiel ansich ist ja wunderbar, aber die Abstürze demotivieren mich nur noch.. Ich mein das ist echt das einzige Spiel was so dermaßen abstürzt.

pcm.exe und noch 2 andere Arten von abstürzen.

Das kann echt nicht sein.
Ich hab auch eine E-Mail geschickt und mich mal beschwert und ich hoffe mal das, dass auch andere tun werden .

ne das das problem. nun will ich wissen was dieser hardware code ist, da ich ihoffe durch diesen weg ein neuen code zu bekommen und dann wiede neuinstallieren kann. Hardware Code

Da steht drinnen, dass beim starten ("startup")der "application" (damit meinen die wohl das Spiel) ein Hardwarecode automatisch generiert wird.

Solltest du damit nichts anfangen können, musst du wohl noch mal nachfragen. Aber vielleicht findest du einen Code in irgendeiner Textdatei, die entweder im RSM-Ordner oder in "Eigene Dateien" ist. Sehr sehr umständlich und nicht gerade kundenfreundlich muss ich schon sagen.

Übrigens, netter Threadtitel!
Aber ob da dann jemand reinguckt, der auch dein Problem hat(te) und dir helfen könnte, weiß ich nicht. Wie wär's mit "Was ist ein Hardwarecode für Downloadversion" oder so?

Hatte das selbe Problem!
Dann habe ich Druck mit 2-3 Mails gemacht und pronto hatte ich einen ganz normalen neuen Key.

Edit: Übrigens haben sie,nachdem das verlangt hatte,auf deutsch zurückgeschrieben.

A. Download and Installation Instructions 
Upon successful purchase of a game, you will find the links for downloading the game files on the screen and in the confirmation mail. If you have not received this email, please check your spam filter. If the email is not there either, please contact Customer Support and provide us with:
  * the email address you have entered when purchasing the game
  * the order number, or with the first four and last four digits of your credit card number.

We will then resend the confirmation mail as soon as possible.

First you must download ALL game files shown on the screen or in the confirmation mail into the same folder on your computer. Then you click on the first file (the .EXE file) to begin the installation. Do not attempt to unpack or to open the .zip or .bin files, the installer will perform the necessary unpacking operations.

To create a folder to download the files into, right-click anywhere on your desktop with your mouse, select 'new' > 'folder' then name it 'Game' or anything you want. Then open the confirmation email we have sent you and click on the first download link. A window will open asking you to open or save the file. Click on 'Save'. Then you will have to select a destination folder. Click on the arrow on the top of the window, which will open a drop-down list, select 'desktop' and then the folder that you previously created, then click on 'Save' (do not change the file name!). Do the same with the other files (if any) listed in the confirmation mail. Once you have downloaded all files, you can proceed with the installation.

Please make sure that, if you have attempted to download the files more than once, the file name for the subsequent download attempts has not been changed - for example, if there is a [1] at the end of the file, just erase the number and the brackets.

Games that have an online multiplayer mode may ask for the multiplayer key (also just called player key or cd key) during or at the end of the installation process or after the game launch. You can find this key in the confirmation mail.

All games require activation upon the first launch. Please refer to section C for details.


B. Download and Installation Problems
Internet Downloads may suffer from reliability problems due to bad connections, routing problems and other technical troubles. In order to prevent data corruption, we urge you to use a download manager like GetRight http://www.getright.com/ (you don't need to buy the program, you can just use the free trial) or GetGo http://www.getgosoft.com/download/index.html to download the game. This will allow you to resume a broken or paused download and should prevent the corruption of files.

You should also take steps to optimize the download speed, for example shutting down any other programs that actually use your internet bandwidth, cleaning temporary internet files and getting rid of malware.  

If you receive error messages during the installation process stating missing or corrupted files, please re-download the files again, using a download manager. If the problem persists, please contact us again.

Important: in certain cases, Firewall and Antivirus software, virtual drives, burner software, emulators etc.  may create software conflicts with the installer and create error messages - please deactivate these programs temporarily for the duration of the installation process.  

For protection against software piracy, the number of authorized download attempts is limited. If you have exhausted your download attempts, you will receive an error message. In that case, please contact the Customer Support and we will grant new download attempts.


C. Activation Instructions
In order to prevent software piracy, our games are protected by a copy protection system. There are many different systems in existence and due to the different game publishers' choices you may encounter either Trymedia, Starforce, SecuRom or Exent copy protection. All those systems have in common that they need an active internet connection in order to perform the activation of the software. 

Thus all games must undergo an activation process upon the first game launch. In most cases you will have to enter a serial number into an activation dialog box. The serial number will be displayed on screen after the purchase and can also be found in your confirmation mail.

To make things a bit more complicated (and copy protection more efficient), many games that have an online multiplayer mode may also ask for a multiplayer key (can also be referred to as player key or cd key) during or at the end of the installation process or sometimes after the game launch. This key can also be found on screen after the purchase and can be found in your confirmation mail.

If there are both a serial number and a multiplayer key, DO NOT CONFUSE THEM! Make sure you enter the multiplayer key when asked for it during the installation process and the serial number when activating the game upon first launch. Also make sure you enter the keys correctly - copy & paste the number from the screen or confirmation mail into the entry field of the dialog box to avoid typos.

For copy protection purposes, the number of activations is limited, usually to three activations.


Trymedia Protection    
Games that use Trymedia protection have an automatic system which just requires a confirming mouse click to start the activation process.


Starforce Protection
Starforce Protection requires the entry of a serial number into the activation dialog box. Please copy and paste the serial number from the email into the activation window. Then click on 'activate' and then 'automatic'.

If the activation fails, you will then receive error messages stating either that
1. the serial number has been mistyped
2. the serial number has been used three times already
3. or that there is a connection problem to the activation servers. 

In the first case, verify that you have entered the serial number correctly and try again. If it still does not work, contact the Customer Support.
In the second case, contact the Customer Support to obtain a new serial number.
In the third case, it might just be a temporary unavailability of the activation servers. Please retry later. If the problem persists, follow the instructions for 'Starforce Activation without internet connection' below.
 

Starforce Activation on a computer without internet connection

For the activation you need a computer with an Internet connection, but it does not need to be the one you want to install the game on. 

1. Start the game and enter the serial number in the activation dialog, then click on the activation button. Due to lack of an internet connection the activation should fail and give you the option to try manual activation. Select manual activation from the game's dialog, which will present you with your machine's unique HARDWARE CODE. Please note there is a time limit on the hardware code generated, i.e. you must proceed quickly or the code will become useless.

2. On a computer with internet, go to the starforce website at http://proactive.star-force.com/net/activate.php
 
3. Enter your SERIAL NUMBER from the confirmation email and then the HARDWARE CODE

4. Click submit and then you'll be presented with the ACTIVATION KEY.

5. go back to the computer with the game  - in the dialog box with the hardware code you proceed to dialog box that says 'Enter Activation key' - enter the activation key from the Starforce site and click on 'activate'.

Die Email hab ich nun zum 3. Mal bekommen. Frechheit! Ich weiss imer noch nicht was ein Hardware Code ist. Und auf Deutsch kriege ich auch keine Email!

Wenn du bei einem französischen Publisher ein Spiel kaufst kannst du auch keine Antwort auf Deutsch verlangen.

HARDWARE-Code dürfte die MAC-Adresse Deiner Netzwerkkarte sein. Google mal danach.

ich weiß nicht ob das wirklich der königsweg ist, aber mittlerweile bilde ich mir ein dass ich das spiel mehr oder weniger ohne probleme spielen kann.

hab mich doch dazu hinreißen lassen mir endlich ein zweites dvd-laufwerk einzubauen (statt nur meinem dual-laufwerk) und hab den neuen patch gezogen.
seitdem scheint es zu laufen.

war der ärger vorher riesig, dass das spiel nicht richtig läuft, ärgere ich mich jetzt gerade im mom(ent mehr, dass ich 2 trikots verloren habe (berg und bester u25) und es schwierig wird sie in den beiden verbleibenden etappen zurück zu holen

immerhin habe ich 3 fahrer unter den top 10 und alle haben noch chancen auf den gesamtsieg

sprich: ich fange so langsam an richtig spaß zu haben!

Ich habe mit denen die ganze Zeit auf deutsch kommuniziert.
